Interessi di ricerca:
My main research interest is technology-enhanced learning that I began studying in 2007 under the guidance of M.A. Mariotti. In particular I have studied and continue to be interested in conjecture-generation in dynamic geometry environments.
More recently I have been studying how multi-touch software environments can foster the development of numerical abilities in pre-schoolers, as well as benefits for students manifesting persistent difficulties in mathematics learning that software like dynamic geometry environments can have in secondary school algebra and geometry.
Within this line of research I am interested in studying how "good ideas" implemented by educational material designers are transformed as the materials are passed to and used by teachers and then students.
