CERME 3: Third Conference of the
European Society for Research in Mathematics Education
28 February - 3 March 2003 in Bellaria, Italy

Second Announcement

This is the second announcement of the Third Conference of ERME, the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education. The conference will be held in Bellaria, Italy from 28 February to 3 March 2003 (starting 28 February at 09.00 hours and ending 3 March with lunch at 13.00 hours).

To complete your registration you need send the final registration form and the payment form to the address didattica@dm.unipi.it. These forms must be sent until 15 January 2003. They are in the web site of CERME 3, http://www.dm.unipi.it/~didattica/CERME3, and are also sent to you in this announcement.

The Conference is preceded by the I YERME-Day (Young European Researchers in Mathematics Education), that takes place at 27 February. You will find further information on this event in the web site: http://www-studenti.dm.unipi.it/yerme

Note that the YERME-Day is to be intended as an appendix to CERME 3 in the sense that in order to participate you will have to Register both to YERME day and CERME 3. To do that you have to fill a single specific final registration form and a single specific payment form that are comprehensive of the two events, so you do not have to do 2 registrations but only one. To participate you are not required to send any paper or to present any work.

Later on the papers accepted in the different thematic groups as well as practical information about transportation will also be published in the CERME 3 web site.
