Born: December, 5, 1968; Pontedera (Pisa), Italy.

Education:

Research Interests:
Design and analysis of numerical algorithms for the solution of problems of large dimension and with a strong structure. Particular interest is devoted to computational issues related to the solution of structured Markov chains and to nonlinear matrix equations.

Teaching:
Classes  of numerical mathematics at Bachelor and Master Degree in Mathematics, University of Pisa.

Awards:
Student fellowship from the ``GMI: Engineering and Management Institute'' of Flint, for participating at the ``First International Conference on Matrix-Analytic Methods in Stochastic Models'', Flint, Michigan (USA), August 24-25, 1995.
