{"id":599,"date":"2022-02-04T22:26:07","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T21:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/didattica\/bachleors-degree\/enrolment-for-the-bachelors-degree-course\/"},"modified":"2025-11-26T12:24:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T11:24:07","slug":"enrolment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/didattica\/en\/bachelors-degree\/enrolment\/","title":{"rendered":"Enrolment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to enrol<\/h4>\n\n<p>For more info on procedures and deadlines with regards to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>matriculation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>enrolment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>transfer from or to other universities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>changes from or to a different degree programmes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>consolidation of academic records;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>you must contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/student-offices\/locations-and-contacts\/administrative-and-educational-student-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Office of the University of Pisa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission requirements<\/h4>\n\n<p>To be admitted to the Degree Program in Mathematics, in addition to good written and oral communication skills, the following knowledge of elementary mathematics is required:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>operations and inequalities involving fractions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>operations and inequalities involving real numbers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>familiarity with manipulating simple algebraic expressions and solving first- and second-degree algebraic equations and inequalities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>basic elements of Euclidean geometry and analytic geometry;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>familiarity with the definitions and basic properties of elementary functions (polynomials, exponentials, logarithms, and trigonometric functions).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Possession of this knowledge is verified through an <strong>entry knowledge assessment test<\/strong>, for which more information is available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/didattica\/en\/bachelors-degree\/knowledge-evaluation-test\/\">the dedicated page<\/a>. Students who do not take the test or do not achieve a passing score may still enroll in the Degree Programme in Mathematics, but they will be assigned an <strong>Additional Learning Requirement<\/strong> (OFA) that must be fulfilled.
