provides a web server that allows you to independently publish HTML pages (e.g., personal pages or pages for conferences and events). The procedure is described on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/come-fare-cosa\/creazione-di-pagine-web\/\">relevant page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, you can create a personal webpage by connecting to the server pagine.dm.unipi.it via SSH, using your ID (a0xxxxx) as username and your university password. This can be done via terminal using the command: ssh a0xxxxx@pagine.dm.unipi.it or via a graphical file transfer program using: ssh:\/\/a0xxxxx@pagine.dm.unipi.it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then create a directory called public_html and place an index.html file inside it containing your main page. The page will be immediately available at: https:\/\/pagine.dm.unipi.it\/~a0xxxxx\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can later request a custom alias (to replace <code data-start=\"2163\" data-end=\"2173\">~a0xxxxx<\/code>) by emailing\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:help.polo2@ticket.unipi.it\">help.polo2@ticket.unipi.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h5 id=\"at-91956\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">&#8230;register for conferences<\/h5><div id=\"ac-91956\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>Department staff are advised to follow the instructions provided on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Regole-per-iscrizioni-ai-Convegni.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">relevant page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h5 id=\"at-91957\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">&#8230;handle invitations<\/h5><div id=\"ac-91957\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>For invitations related to seminars and\/or scientific collaborations, fill out the dedicated form on the <a href=\"https:\/\/manage.dm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Manage platform<\/a>.
