Alternatively, you can take bus number 3 to Piazza della Stazione, then switch to bus number 2 and get off at the Via F. There are very frequent connections to Florence. Train schedules are available on the Trenitalia website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n The department can be reached by taking bus number 2 and getting off at the Via F. Buonarroti stop. From the station, the department is also reachable on foot (20\u201330 minutes).<\/p>\n\n You can consult the city center<\/a> map.<\/p>\n\n Pisa is close to the junction of two major highways: the A12, running north\u2013south (Sestri Levante \u2013 Livorno), and the A11, running east\u2013west (Pisa \u2013 Florence). We recommend taking the \u201cPisa Centro\u201d exit, continuing along the Fi-Pi-Li expressway to the \u201cPisa nord-est\u201d exit, and following the directions shown in the map from the south and east<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n If you are arriving from the north, it may be preferable to take the \u201cPisa Nord\u201d exit, continue along the Aurelia state road to Pisa, and then follow the directions in the map from the north<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n Please note: Pisa is a small city with many pedestrian areas and restricted traffic zones.
