Topics<br>of interest especially include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>learning to quantify (a.k.a. quantification, or supervised prevalence estimation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technology-assisted review and its applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>authorship analysis (including authorship attribution, native language identification, and others)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cross-lingual and cross-modal classification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>active learning for interactive classification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful candidates will attend the Ph.D. programme at the University of Pisa, and carry out their research at ISTI-CNR, also in Pisa, under the supervision of researchers from the AI4Text group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates must apply by February 1, 2023: see the <a href=\"https:\/\/dottorato.unipi.it\/index.php\/en\/application-process-for-the-academic-year-2022-20232\/item\/730.html\">link<\/a> for details on the application procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fellowships funded by the AIMH group are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ING_INFO03_E: Information Engineering. <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Research project in: \u201cInformation Technology III\u201d on the subject \u201cArtificial intelligence applied to the analysis of multimedia or textual information&#8221;
