{"id":2471,"date":"2023-02-16T08:26:32","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T07:26:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/research\/call-for-expression-of-interest\/?lang=en"},"modified":"2024-11-29T09:26:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T08:26:22","slug":"call-for-expression-of-interest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dm.unipi.it\/research\/call-for-expression-of-interest\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for expression of interest"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa, within the &#8220;Department of Excellence&#8221; funding framework, launches a call for expression of interest to identify candidates at all levels with outstanding scientific expertise in the fields of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mathematics of machine learning and data science, high dimensional statistics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mathematics and modeling of complex phenomena in physical and life sciences.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates can write to <a href=\"mailto:segamm@dm.unipi.it\">segamm@dm.unipi.it<\/a>, including a letter of motivation and a CV, with a description of current research and teaching activities <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">by Friday, March 31, 2023<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All expressions will be kept strictly confidential. Knowledge of the Italian language is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax benefits may apply according to Italian law for scholars that worked outside Italy for at least two years.
