Professor Anna Ethelwyn Baccaglini-Frank from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa has been awarded the prestigious “Giovanni Prodi” prize for research in Mathematics Education conducted by researchers under the age of 40 who have made an original and significant international contribution. The award, in its first edition and conferred every four years, was presented during the XXII Congress of the Italian Mathematical Union at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa. The commission recognized the rigorous work of Professor Baccaglini-Frank and the importance of her research results at the global level. The winner expressed her gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of the support she received from her colleagues and mentors in her research journey.
