A public selection procedure has been announced for the award of 2 post-doc positions, each lasting 24 months, at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa, in the scientific disciplinary sector MATH-03/A – Mathematical Analysis.
The two positions concern the following research projects:
“Regularity theory for vectorial free boundary problems”, with Prof. Bozhidar Velichkov as research supervisor;
“Regularity theory in degenerate free boundary problems”, with Prof. Bozhidar Velichkov as research supervisor.
The research activities will focus on regularity theory for free boundary problems and variational geometric problems, with particular emphasis, respectively, on vectorial and multiphase Bernoulli problems and on problems involving degenerate operators and weights.
The gross annual amount of each position is €54,910.08. Italian and foreign candidates holding a PhD or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad may apply. Italian citizenship is not required.
Further information and instructions for submitting applications are available at the following link.
