We would like to announce that Bruno Martelli, along with Giovanni Italiano and Matteo Migliorini, two doctoral students supervised by him at the SNS, has received the “Frontiers of Science Awards” prize, which will be presented to him this week in Beijing.
The award is aimed at recognizing the best basic and applied research papers published in the last 5 years. Among the awarded authors, in addition to Martelli, Italiano, and Migliorini, are several Fields Medalists, including Akshay Venkatesh, Caucher Birkar, Maxim Kontsevich, Peter Scholze, Maryam Mirzakhani, Alessio Figalli, and Andrei Okounkov.
