Abstract
The geometric Satake equivalence, due to Mirkovic and Vilonen, establishes an equivalence between certain perverse sheaves on the affine Grassmannian $Gr_G$, for a split reductive group $G$, and representations of the Langlands dual group $\hat G$. In my talk, I will report on joint work with Timo Richarz and with Robert Cass and Thibaud van den Hove, in which we prove a motivic refinement of this equivalence.
