Nicola Bertozzi studies the ergodic and mixing properties of chaotic dynamical systems, with applications to Anosov flows and, in particular, to the geodesic and horocycle flows on the modular surface obtained from the Poincaré hyperbolic half-plane model. The supervisor of the Ph.D. project is Claudio Bonanno (University of Pisa).
