Viola Giovannini studies hyperbolic geometry and in particular she is mainly interested in the renormalized volume of convex-cocompact hyperbolic 3-manifolds. The advisors of her Ph.D. Project are Bruno Martelli (univeristà di Pisa) and Jean-Marc Schlenker (University of Luxembourg). Her Ph.D. Project is under a cotutelle program (incoming program) with the University of Luxembourg.
