How to reach us

By Air

Pisa has an international airport with daily flights to London, Munich, Rome, Milan, and other major Italian cities. The schedule of incoming and outgoing flights is available on the Pisa airoport’s website.

The airport is located on the outskirts of the city, about 3km from the city center. The easiest way to reach the center is probably by taxi. If no taxis are available, you can use the radio taxi service at the phone number (+39)050541600. Alternatively, you can take bus number 3 and get off at Piazza della Stazione, then take bus number 2 and get off at the stop on Via F. Buonarroti.

You can consult the map of Pisa and the airport.

By Train

Pisa’s train station is situated on the line connecting Turin to Rome. There are frequent connections to Florence. The train schedule is available on the Trenitalia website.

The department can be reached using bus number 2, getting off at the Via F. Buonarroti stop. The department is also reachable on foot from the station (20-30 minutes).

You can consult the map of the city center.

By Car

Pisa is close to the intersection of two highways: the A12 highway that runs from north to south (Sestri Levante – Livorno) and the A11 highway that runs from east to west (Pisa – Florence). It is recommended to take the “Pisa Centro” exit and continue along the Fi-Pi-Li major communication road until the “Pisa nord-est” exit, following the directions on the map from the south and east.

If you’re coming from the North, it might be preferable to take the “Pisa Nord” exit, continue on the Aurelia state road until you reach Pisa, and then follow the directions on the map from the north.

Note: Pisa is a small city with many pedestrian areas and limited traffic zones. Parking is a problem, and almost all parking spaces are paid.

Services
