Call for 2023-24 INdAM Research Projects

INdAM has announced a competition for the funding of 10 Research Projects. The funding aims to support and develop research in emerging areas of mathematical research and its applications and will be allocated across three distinct funding lines as follows:

Line 1 Starting Grants 4 projects with the main focus on one of the ERC subsectors in the PE1 area, each amounting to €30,000.00 reserved for researchers affiliated with the INdAM National Research Groups who, as of December 31, 2023, have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent title or a degree from a foreign university comparable to a Ph.D. title within the last 7 years.

Line 2 Consolidator Grants 3 projects with the main focus on one of the ERC subsectors in the PE1 area, each amounting to €30,000.00 reserved for researchers affiliated with the INdAM National Research Groups who, as of December 31, 2023, have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent title or a degree from a foreign university comparable to a Ph.D. title for at least 7 years and up to 12 years.

Line 3 Advanced Grants 3 projects with the main focus on one of the ERC subsectors in the PE1 area, each amounting to €30,000.00 reserved for researchers affiliated with the INdAM National Research Groups who, as of December 31, 2023, have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent title or a degree from a foreign university comparable to a Ph.D. title for at least 12 years.

The funding will be used for missions, participation in and organization of scientific events, and collaborations with other researchers, including interdisciplinary collaborations.
